Cummins Inc. seeks an Engine Workshop/Field Service Technician - Apprentice for the Northern Cape, SA. You’ll support workshop and field tasks, learn repair techniques, and document work while upholding health, safety, and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have NSC Matric, N6 and/or N2/N3 engineering studies, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally as required by the role.

Competenze

• NSC Matric with grade 12
• N6 Mechanical Engineering with 4 subjects
• N2/N3 Engineering studies with Mathematics/Engineering subjects

Mansioni

• Assist with workshop and field service tasks
• Learn repair techniques and SRTs for engines and power generators
• Disassemble/reassemble engines and performance inspection
• Document work completed forms and time sheets
• Maintain tools and workshop cleanliness and safety compliance
• Report issues to supervisor for continuous improvement
