The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting physicians and nursing staff during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures by preparing procedure rooms, setting up and maintaining endoscopy equipment, ensuring proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopes and accessories, monitoring equipment functionality, preparing patients for procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital quality standards to support the delivery of safe and efficient endoscopy services.
Diploma in Endoscopy Technician or a relevant allied health discipline from a recognised institution
