Job summary

Responsibilities

• Analyze test results and recommend corrective or preventive actions.

Change Management / Digital Transformation

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience in electrical equipment of Hydropower plants at all levels and handling of their relevant troubles
• Preparation of maintenance reports, fault investigation reports, test reports, technical specifications and equipment history records
• Operation and testing knowledge of electrical protection relays shall be an advantage as additional skill
• Overcurrent, earth fault, differential, distance, under/over-voltage, under/over-frequency, reverse power, loss of excitation, negative sequence and generator backup protection
• Monitor generator electrical parameters such as MW, MVAr, voltage, current, frequency, power factor, excitation current and temperature
• Analysis of electrical test results and equipment condition and recommending corrective/preventive actions
• Support in spare-parts planning, technical evaluation of suppliers, procurement specifications and inspection of electrical equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or related work.
• Minimum age limit : 33 years
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, development, and testing practices.
• Proficiency in industry-standard electrical design software.
• Experience with electrical systems, control systems, and power distribution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site setting.
• Preference will be given to candidate having (07) years of professional O&M experience as an engineer at Hydropower plant
