Job description

Job Title: Audiologist

Responsibilities:

Clinical:

1. Ability to operate & calibrate all audiometric equipment.
2. Administer all diagnostic audiological tests for adults and children.
3. Interpret the results and counsel patients with hearing disorders.
4. Good working knowledge of current and past hearing aids and other assistive devices.
5. Fit and verify hearing aids and assistive devices for patients with hearing loss.
6. Educate patients about the various options and settings that are available on their hearing aids.
7. Identify, test, diagnose & manage disorders with respect to hearing, balance, and tinnitus.
8. Counsel patients on the most appropriate care pathways and treatment plans for effectively managing their hearing difficulties.

Business Operations:

1. Maintain patient records and reports of sale, inventory, diagnostic tests, etc.
2. Monitor stocks, marketing materials, and other essentials for running the clinic and coordinate with the central team for order processing and replenishments.
3. Proactively reach out to all internal and external stakeholders and develop strong relationships with doctors and patients.
4. Exhibit exemplary teamwork and work in close coordination with stakeholders to plan outreach activities and schedule home visits as per the requirements of the patients.
5. Demonstrate accountability by proactively monitoring patient’s progress and resolving any difficulties that they might face with respect to settings or programming of their hearing aids.

Basic Qualification:

Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelors in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) or Masters in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP).

Experience: 6 months - 5 years of clinical experience.

Locations: Rajkot/Ahmedabad.
