Job description

We are a leading provider of interactive gaming content and technology to online casinos worldwide. Our Remote Gaming Server (RGS) and Game Platform power cutting-edge real-money gaming experiences. As we expand into new markets and scale our infrastructure, we seek a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to spearhead and lead the team of our automation, security, and high-availability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Workflow Management – Plan short-term and mid-term tasks, optimize workflows, and enhance the team’s capabilities.
  • Infrastructure Management & Scaling – Design, maintain, and optimize high-load transactional cloud-based infrastructures.
  • New Market Deployments – Implement infrastructure deployments worldwide to expand into new regulated markets.
  • CI/CD & Automation – Maintain, improve, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for efficient software delivery.
  • Security & Compliance – Prepare for and pass security audits while implementing best practices for resilience, security, and performance.
  • Incident Response & Prevention – Organize monitoring, alerting, and rapid incident response to ensure system stability.
  • Networking & Performance Optimization – Optimize networking infrastructure, AWS-specific networking, and load balancing strategies.
  • Cost Optimization – Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining performance.
  • Infrastructure Documentation & Training – Maintain technical documentation and create training materials for internal teams.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Assist development and testing teams with optimized deployment setups.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Leadership & Management – 2+ years leading a DevOps or infrastructure team.
  • High-Load Transactional System Expertise – Experience managing large-scale, high available transactional systems.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or 2+ years AWS infrastructure experience.
  • Cloud Infrastructure – Strong AWS expertise, including AWS Organizations, networking, and security best practices.
  • Linux Administration – Advanced Linux security and performance tuning, kernel parameter configuration, network stack tuning and monitoring.
  • Containerization & Orchestration – Advanced Docker knowledge, container security, and Kubernetes (EKS) management.
  • Networking & Security – Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, WAF configurations, and AWS networking and IAM security.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Proven expertise with the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for automating scalable and secure infrastructure provisioning in AWS, using TypeScript, Python, or other supported languages. Experience integrating CDK into CI/CD pipelines and enforcing security best practices through code.
  • Monitoring & Alerting – Expertise in Zabbix or equivalent, including custom metrics, alerts, dashboards, and performance optimization.
  • Security & Compliance – Experience preparing for security audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Preferred Skills:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Professional.
  • Database Administration – Experience managing high-load relational databases and Elasticsearch administration.
  • Experience in high-volume gaming or Fintech.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven infrastructure monitoring and automation.
  • F5 Web application Firewalls and NGINX Load balancers.
  • Proficiency with network analysis tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark.
  • Relational and NoSQL database query languages.
