As the Front Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our mental health establishment, setting the tone for client experience. This pivotal role combines administrative excellence with compassionate client interaction. Success in this position means creating a welcoming, organized environment where clients feel supported from their first encounter with our services. You'll be the essential bridge between clients and our clinical team, embodying our ethical values.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage client reception, including warmly greeting visitors and handling check-in/check-out processes
  2. Schedule and coordinate appointments using our practice management system
  3. Process payments and handle basic billing inquiries
  4. Maintain a clean, calm, and professional waiting area
  5. Coordinate with clinical staff regarding client arrivals and scheduling changes
  6. Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information

Job Specification:

  1. Good interpersonal skills
  2. Proficiency with office software
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills
  4. Understanding of or willingness to learn about mental health conditions and terminology
