Job summary

OUP is seeking a seasoned graphic design lead to shape the visual development of our educational books and publishing materials across print and digital channels. You will support creative leadership, ensure brand consistency, and deliver engaging content that aligns with our business objectives.

You will guide junior designers, refine workflows for efficient production, and stay ahead of industry trends to modernize layouts, illustrations, and cover aesthetics across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
• 5+ years of design/illustration experience, preferably in publishing, educational media, or agency.
• Proficiency in design software, vector workflows, typography, and prepress/digital output standards.
• Strong collaboration and project coordination skills, with experience guiding junior designers or freelancers.
