Job summary

OUP is seeking a hands-on Graphic Designer to develop high-quality educational books and publishing materials in print and digital formats. You will blend creative production with day-to-day project coordination to ensure visual storytelling and brand consistency across titles.

The role requires a strong portfolio in book layout, typography, and vector artwork, plus proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and knowledge of prepress workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on design and illustration experience.
• Strong portfolio with book layouts, typography and vector art.
• Solid prepress knowledge and print production understanding.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design and production of book layouts, covers and digital assets.
• Coordinate design pipelines, schedules and deliverables from concept to print/digital.
• Maintain typography, color and visual branding across titles.
• Explore modern layouts and illustration styles to keep aesthetics fresh.
