Business Development Officer
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
- Prepare and present effective business proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to close business deals successfully.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to enhance service offerings.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue in the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports to management on business development progress and opportunities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
