Job summary

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Lahore is hiring a Project Director (PPS-12) to lead the PMU for the Babu Sabu Wastewater Plant project. The role demands extensive experience in public health engineering and coordination of contractors, with a PEC registration and preference for international-financed projects.

The position is project-based (12 months, extendable) with a focus on planning, reporting to the donor, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in public health engineering, sewerage systems or wastewater treatment plants.
• Registered Engineer with PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council).
• Experience in donor-funded/international agency or bank projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management Unit (PMU) for wastewater treatment plant construction.
• Coordinate contractors and specialists and report to the funding agency.
• Oversee planning, budgeting and project reporting; ensure compliance with donor requirements.
