Job summary

BNP Phase III in Pakistan seeks a Nutrition and Development Facilitator (NDF) for South Punjab to strengthen nutrition and Early Childhood Development through frontline community work. The role links eligible households with Facilitation Centre services, LHWs, and local leaders to promote better feeding, care and service uptake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Public Health, Social Sciences, Community Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in community mobilization, nutrition, health, SBC, ECD, social protection, counselling, or development program.
• Experience working with communities, particularly women, children, adolescents, and vulnerable households.
• Knowledge of MIYCN, ECD, parenting, community engagement, and behavior change approaches will be an advantage.
• Experience with BISP/Kafaalat, LHWs/LHSs, Facilitation centers, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Targeted Outreach and Mapping: Map BISP/Kafaalat households; identify PBWs and children 0–23/24 months; coordinate with relevant agents; support outreach during payment days.
• Community Engagement and Social & Behavior Change: Facilitate parent, adolescent, and peer groups; conduct counselling; engage key decision-makers.
• FC-Based Counselling and ECD: Provide practical counselling; support Parenting and Nutrition Corner; demonstrate feeding and responsive caregiving practices.
• Follow-up and Referral: Track missed visits and referrals; conduct return-to-service counselling; promote continuity of nutrition and health services.
• Campaigns and Feedback: Support campaigns; promote nutrition messages; ensure understanding of entitlements and complaint mechanisms.
• Monitoring, Reporting and Learning: Maintain trackers; submit monthly reports; use data to improve SBC plans and outreach.
