Job summary

IOM - UN Migration in Sukkur is seeking a Driver to operate and maintain office vehicles, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and timely conveyance of staff and documents. The role includes logging trips, coordinating with the country office, and performing light clerical tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of driving rules, experience with various vehicles, and the ability to manage routine maintenance and minor repairs. English fluency is required, Urdu helpful.

Qualifications

• High school degree or Bachelor’s from an accredited institution.
• Valid national driver’s license.
• Fluency in English; Urdu knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned IOM office vehicle(s) and ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain daily vehicle logs and prepare monthly mileage/fuel reports.
• Arrange for routine servicing and minor repairs; keep spare parts inventory.
• Escort official personnel at airports and support clerical duties as needed.
• Ensure vehicle use complies with official/authorized purposes and maintain confidentiality.
