Job summary

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) invites applications for the role of Director IT Skills Development. The position is contract-based and based in Islamabad, reporting to the Chief Skills Development Officer.

You will lead national IT skills standardisation, collaborate with HEC, universities and industry, and drive policies and programs to prepare Pakistanis for international markets. The role requires minimum 16 years of education and 10 years of relevant experience in IT workforce

Qualifications

• Degree from a HEC-recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant IT workforce development experience.
• Experience with stakeholders such as HEC, universities, government bodies, industry, IT firms.
• Experience in designing IT training roadmaps or skill frameworks.
• Experience managing large-scale IT education/training programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT skills frameworks and standards across universities and institutes.
• Collaborate with HEC and private sector to update curricula and certifications.
• Lead research and labor-market intelligence on IT skills gaps.
• Oversee international talent export initiatives and MoUs.
• Lead the team, manage budgets and KPIs; report to the CSDO/CEO.
