The Digital HR & AI Manager will bridge HR and UBL's technology teams to translate business needs into secure, practical digital and AI solutions. The role requires strong practical knowledge and hands-on understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, multimodal models/tools, prompt engineering, model/tool evaluation, APIs, and local/offline AI approaches. The role will support end-to-end solution delivery, targeted solution development, and AI capability building and adoption across HR.
Job Responsibilities:
Digital HR & AI Solution Delivery
- Translate HR needs into clear BRDs, functional requirements, user specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Work with IT, AI, and technical teams across design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Assess and recommend appropriate AI models, tools, and approaches for HR use cases, considering accuracy, security, privacy, integration, cost, scalability, and responsible use.
- Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and vendor/partner deliverables to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Applied AI & Technical Enablement
- Develop or prototype focused Digital HR/AI solutions, automation utilities, dashboards, and integrations where business needs can be addressed efficiently.
- Design practical use cases using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, analytics, and multimodal AI across text, image, video, and voice, including local/offline options where required.
Security, Governance & Quality
- Coordinate with Information Security, IT Governance, and relevant teams to embed security, privacy, access control, data protection, and Responsible AI requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Coordinate functional, integration, UAT, security, and production-readiness activities; monitor adoption, performance, user feedback, and improvement opportunities.
AI Capability Building & Adoption
- Maintain current knowledge of the AI ecosystem, models, tools, capabilities, limitations, and emerging practices; translate this knowledge into practical HR use cases, demos, awareness sessions, and training.
Partner with Learning & Development, AI, technology, and transformation teams on wider AI capability-building and adoption initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, MIS, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Digital/AI solution delivery, business analysis, application implementation, software/AI development, or a related area, with practical exposure to AI/Generative AI models, tools, prototypes, or use cases. Experience working across business and IT/development teams is preferred.
Job Specific Skills:
- Strong practical knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and risks.
- Hands-on familiarity with leading AI models, platforms, and APIs such as OpenAI/ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot/Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, open-source models, and local/offline AI approaches.
- Good understanding of multimodal AI across text, image, video, and voice, with the ability to evaluate AI tools/models for business fit, accuracy, security, privacy, cost, and responsible use.
- Working technical and delivery knowledge of Python, REST APIs, SQL/databases, integrations, dashboards, deployment environments, BRDs/functional requirements, UAT, and SDLC/Agile delivery.
