Job summary

Sukuk Capital is seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Lahore. You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform, and automate deployments using Ansible.

Qualifications include a CS degree, 2+ years in DevOps, and hands-on skills with Git, Linux, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Qualifications

• CS graduate from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 years of professional DevOps or infrastructure experience.
• Proficient with Git/Bitbucket, Linux, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

About the Job

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer professional with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. Below are the job responsibilities and skills required for the captioned position.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Write and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Handle configuration management and deployment automation via Ansible.
• Develop Shell and Python scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Configure dashboards, metrics, and alerts using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and environment performance issues.
• Manage, patch, and maintain Ubuntu and Linux server environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must be a CS Graduate from a recognized university.
• Experience: Min. 2 years of professional DevOps or infrastructure experience.
• Version Control: Git and Bitbucket repository management.
• Cloud Platforms: Practical experience with GCP and OCI.
• Core Tools: Hands‑on skills with Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Scripting: Strong foundational knowledge of Shell and Python scripting.
• Operating Systems: Confident administration of Ubuntu/Linux environments.
• Monitoring: Hands‑on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• Networking: Good functional networking know-how (subnets, routing, firewalls, DNS).

Preferred Skills (Good to have)

• Knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration.
• Relevant cloud certifications for GCP or OCI.
