Confidential Enterprises in Lahore is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support financial operations and ensure accurate reporting.

This role involves preparing statements, reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, budgeting support, and aiding month-end close while safeguarding confidentiality and promoting team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and proficiency with Excel and common accounting software.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as an assistant accountant or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements according to company guidelines.
• Perform routine calculations and produce analysis reports as requested by senior accountants.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and input journal entries into the accounting system.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain and update financial records and databases.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes as necessary.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
• Provide administrative support and assist with other accounting projects as needed.
