Job summary

Indus Hospital is seeking a Deputy Manager – Projects (Karachi Based) in Operations. The role focuses on site surveys, project budgeting, and layout design for outreach containers and fixed facilities across Pakistan.

You will oversee construction progress, prepare BOQs and engineering estimates, and coordinate with procurement and finance. Travel to sites will be frequent to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in health sector preferred.
• BE in Civil and a Project Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess/review new sites including site surveys and assessment reports.
• Assist HOD Operations in project proposals, cost & time estimates and budgets.
• Develop layout/design of outreach container and fixed facilities.
• Prepare and coordinate project Civil, MEP & ID BOQs, technicals, and engineering estimates with PRFs.
• Oversee all sites constructions to monitor progress.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, MS Office.
• Prepare construction schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate with Procurement/Finance for vendor onboarding and payments.
• Bills/Invoices verification per SOP and completion certificates of vendors.
• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
• Ensure safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Assist in developing annual budget and yearly goals for the department.
• Participate in meetings with Architect, End user, and Construction team.
• Frequent travelling to sites to monitor progress and quality.
