Job summary

Amreli Steels Limited is seeking a Deputy Manager - Corporate Sales to drive revenue growth and achieve targets set by the Regional Manager – Sales. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new corporate customers, and build lasting partnerships with developers, contractors, consultants, and procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets in line with the overall objectives set by the Regional Manager – Sales.
• Develop and execute the sales plan in coordination with the Regional Manager.
• Identify and develop new corporate customers, contractors, developers, consultants, institutional customers and project-based accounts.
• Identify & track upcoming construction, infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects and convert potential opportunities into sales.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, architects, structural engineers and procurement teams.
• Monitor market pricing, competitor activities, customer requirements and market trends and provide timely feedback to the Regional Manager.
• Conduct regular customer and project visits including outstation visit across Pakistan (as required) to identify opportunities, understand requirements and strengthen business relationships.
• Monitor customer orders, dispatches and deliveries and proactively resolve customer-related issues.
• Ensure timely follow-up of customer payments and coordinate with Finance/Credit Control to manage outstanding receivables.
• Monitor lost orders and identify reasons relating to pricing, competition, availability, service or other factors, with corrective actions where possible.
• Drive sales promotion and customer engagement activities for respective clients.
• Guide, coach, supervise and monitor the performance of the Sales Promotion Officer(s) reporting to the position.
• Review leads and opportunities generated by Sales Promotion Officer(s) and ensure timely conversion and follow-up.
• Conduct joint customer/project visits with Sales Promotion Officer(s) where required to support business development and order conversion when required.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting from Sales Promotion Officer(s) and consolidate relevant information for submission to the Regional Manager.
• Provide regular updates to the Regional Manager on performance, sales pipeline, major opportunities, customer issues, competition and market developments.
• Support the Regional Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue and profitability objectives.
• Take ownership of day-to-day sales operations and ensure effective utilization of available sales resources.
