Job description

Engineering graduate from HEC recognized university with at least 6 years of experience. Having a Master’s degree shall be preferred. PEC registration is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

The position exists for the purpose of providing in-house engineering consulting and advice for compressor systems and achieving proficiency in the latest technologies. The incumbent is responsible for providing effective project management and consultancy services within the natural gas transmission industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop an understanding of gas compression technologies, equipment specifications, and industry standards.
2. Provide directions on the technical aspects of compressor station design.
3. Conduct need assessment of compressor projects, review process parameters obtained from the simulation team, and incorporate them into bidding documents.
4. Provide specialized engineering services for contract management based on the EPCC approach for compressor projects.
5. Offer specialized consultancy services, drawing on extensive technical knowledge in compressor technology.
6. Provide insights into intricate engineering challenges, conduct feasibility studies, and deliver tailored consultancy services aligned with the requirements of the gas transmission industry.
7. Lead and manage compressor-related projects with a focus on technical excellence.
8. Prepare Terms of References (ToRs), scope of services, and evaluation criteria for obtaining consultancy services.
9. Apply appropriate procurement methods and procedures as per Public Procurement Rules for the acquisition of goods, works, and services.
10. Apply expertise in project planning, risk assessment, and execution to ensure successful implementation within timelines and budgets.
11. Apply technical knowledge of emerging technologies to enhance the efficiency and reliability of compressor design and operations.
12. Utilize technical expertise to optimize resource allocation, implement cost-effective measures, and ensure projects are executed efficiently without compromising safety or quality.
13. Provide mentorship, conduct technical training programs, and foster a culture of continuous learning to keep the team at the forefront of technological advancements.
14. Engage effectively with internal stakeholders, external clients, and regulatory bodies.
15. Ensure team compliance with the Company HSE & QA Guidelines and procedures.
16. Ensure team compliance with the Company’s procurement procedures and regulatory requirements.
17. Develop and implement risk response strategies for risks under management.
18. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of risk reporting information.
19. Undertake any other tasks assigned by superiors.
