Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets and ensure adherence to corporate directives on Occupational Health & Safety and store security across our wholesale centers in Pakistan.

You will lead risk assessments, supervise third‑party security staff, coordinate with service providers, and report incidents to the Store Manager to help maintain safe, efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Graduation is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate directives on Occupational Health & Safety and store security.
• Manage security against shoplifting, theft, pilferage, robbery, fraud, trespassing and vandalism.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and report safety concerns and propose solutions.
• Keep RM Security and Store Manager informed of incidents counterproductive to corporate interests.
• Ensure deployment, rosters, shift management and attendance of third-party security staff.
• Identify SOP gaps and propose remedial or corrective measures.
• Coordinate with third-party providers on security-related matters.

Job Description

• Ensure compliance with all corporate directives, SOPs, and management instructions issued from time to time regarding Occupational Health & Safety and store security.
• Manage and ensure the continuous improvement of all security matters related to shoplifting, theft, pilferage, robbery, fraud, trespassing, vandalism, and any other criminal activities against the interests of the store.
• Ensure risk assessments and hazard analyses are conducted to identify and report areas of concern regarding safety, security, or any other matter against the interests of the store, and develop proactive solutions to support operations.
• Keep the RM Security and Store Manager informed of all activities or incidents that may be counterproductive to corporate interests.
• Ensure proper deployment, duty rosters, shift management, and attendance of third-party security staff.
• Continuously identify operational SOP gaps, report them, and propose remedial and/or corrective measures.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers on all security-related matters.
