Job summary

foodpanda Pakistan is seeking a highly-driven Specialist, Demand Planning to join the team in Islamabad, Karachi or Lahore. You will create replenishment plans, participate in S&OP meetings, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time availability.

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of planning experience, strong Excel and SQL skills, and be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, SCM, Mathematics or Economics.
• 3–4 years of experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces/e-commerce is a plus.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup) and SQL knowledge.
• Analytical mindset with data-heavy decision making and detail orientation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Autonomous in a demanding, ambiguous environment with good organization.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create daily/weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out, and planned forecast.
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Calculate a proper supply plan based on generated demand forecast.
• Prepare and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports based on actuals.
• Maintain healthy inventory in DC and stores based on target days cover, availability targets and shrinkage.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to drive forecast adjustments.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery alignments and drive fulfillment performance.
• Monitor supplier issues and escalate as necessary to ensure availability.
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and flag for action.
• Identify SKUs with no movement for the past 28 days.
• Work cross-functionally to assist in projects and resolve issues.
• Other tasks relevant to the function.
