Job summary

Funavry Technologies is seeking a senior data governance professional to shape and run a federated data governance program on a Microsoft Azure Fabric platform with Purview governance capabilities.

You will define policies, lead domain modeling, and establish data quality rules and KPIs, while coaching data owners and stewards across the organization. Strong SQL and English communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data management, including hands-on governance programs and enterprise data models.
• Strong knowledge of data mesh and federated governance.
• Hands-on with an enterprise catalog (Purview, Collibra, Alation or Informatica).
• Expert in dimensional and domain modeling, using tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio or SqlDBM.
• Working knowledge of cloud data platforms (Fabric, Synapse, Databricks or Snowflake) and medallion architecture.
• Strong SQL and stakeholder communication skills in English.

Defines and runs the data governance and data management framework, moving the organization toward a federated, domain-oriented data mesh with trusted, discoverable data products.The client platformis based on Microsoft Azure and Fabric, with Microsoft Purview for governance.

Nice to have
