Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in data governance/management.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Purview and Azure data platforms.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks and RACI models.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.
• Configure Microsoft Purview for cataloguing, metadata, classification, lineage, and governance.
• Develop business glossaries, data dictionaries, data domains, and data elements.
• Establish data ownership, stewardship, and governance RACI models.
• Define data quality rules, KPIs, monitoring, and remediation processes.
• Implement and maintain data lineage and impact analysis.
• Support data classification, privacy, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Azure Data Engineering and Architecture teams to embed governance-by-design.
• Work with Azure services including ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Azure SQL, Power BI and Fabric.
• Prepare governance documentation, dashboards, reports, and executive-level recommendations.
