Job summary

CureMD is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement ETL/ELT data pipelines for healthcare data. You will optimize large-scale data migrations, work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data processing needs.

The role emphasizes Python-based data scraping, robust data quality, and seamless integration within CureMD Platform, contributing to reliable patient data workflows and healthcare outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience with data migration strategies, particularly in migrating large-scale production systems in both on‑premises/data center environments and cloud migration scenarios.
• Experience with database technologies, particularly SQL Server 2008 and above, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Proficiency in SQL with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Data scraping experience in Python.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the healthcare IT domain is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to users, resolving complex database migration challenges, especially within the context of healthcare data.
• Develop and deliver best practices recommendations, sample code, and technical presentations tailored to various levels of business and technical stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather project requirements and ensure successful project delivery from start to finish.
• Migrate transactional database systems such as SQL Server (2008 and above), PostgreSQL, and MySQL to the CureMD Platform.
