Job summary

Reboot Monkey is hiring a Data Center Technician to join our Islamabad operations. This full-time, on-site role supports critical infrastructure at our world-class data center facilities.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, monitor power and cooling, and respond to incidents with strong documentation and teamwork. Preferred certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) and vendor certs (Dell, HPE, Cisco) are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Experience with rack and stack operations.
• Knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms (preferred).
• ITIL practices knowledge (preferred).
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) and data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
