Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Gujranwala, PK. This on-site position supports mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

The role requires 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, strong cabling skills, server hardware experience, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and professional English communication. Preference for DCIM and ticketing tools and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure.
• Proficient in copper and fiber cabling (Cat5e/6/6a; single-/multi-mode).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on raised floors.
• Professional communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
