Job summary

FORTEK Pvt. Ltd. in Islamabad seeks a Pre-Sales Engineer to independently design and technically qualify ICT and data center infrastructure solutions for mid-complexity opportunities. You will translate client requirements into compliant, cost-effective proposals working with Sales and OEM partners.

The role is the technical face of deals for mid-sized opportunities and involves site surveys, BoQ preparation, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely, high-quality bids.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Telecom/Civil-MEP) or CS from an HEC-recognized university.
• At least one active OEM certification required at entry; additional certifications preferred.
• 4–6 years in a pre-sales, technical sales, or solution engineering role within ICT/data center infra.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Proposal Development: prepare BOQs, technical proposals, and architectures for data center and ICT infrastructure.
• Client Engagement & Technical Validation: conduct site surveys, demonstrate products, and articulate Q/TCO/ROI advantages.
• Tender & Compliance Management: prepare technical matrices and respond to clarification queries during tender evaluation.
• Reporting Responsibilities: daily/weekly/monthly updates on proposal status and vendor coordination.
