Job summary

Telenor Shared Services Pakistan in Islamabad is seeking a Data & Analytics Expert for Finance Systems to design and operate data integration, warehousing and analytics using Oracle ADW, ODI and OAC. You will work closely with Fusion ERP reporting teams to deliver reliable finance insights.

The role requires hands-on Oracle BI/ETL skills, collaboration across time zones, and a proactive approach to performance tuning and data quality. English communication and agile practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/Computer Sciences with financials/SCM overview.
• 6+ years of experience in data warehousing / BI development with Oracle ADW, OAC, ODI.
• Strong hands-on Oracle ADW: schema design, data loading, SQL/PL-SQL, performance tuning.
• Hands-on ODI: mappings, load plans, knowledge modules, scheduling.
• Hands-on OAC: datasets, data flows, workbooks, dashboards, data actions, semantic modeling.
• Advanced SQL & PL/SQL, star schema modeling, ETL/ELT best practices.
• Fusion ERP knowledge: BICC, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiar with Oracle Financials, SCM, Projects data; EBS R12.2 exposure is a plus.
• Relevant certification (Oracle Analytics Cloud, ODI) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support data warehouse solutions on Oracle ADW sourced from Fusion ERP and other systems.
• Build and maintain ODI ETL/ELT pipelines with scheduling and monitoring.
• Collaborate with application teams to gather and deliver reporting requirements.
• Develop dashboards and data flows in Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• Performance tuning and monitoring of ADW, ODI jobs and OAC content.
• Coordinate with Oracle support and handle bug fixes.
• Ad hoc data extraction and report development.
• Fusion data extraction and reporting using OTBI and BI Publisher when needed.

We’re looking for a Data & Analytics Expert responsible for the development and operation of data integration, data warehousing and analytics solutions on Oracle ADW, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) according to the best practices and customers’ expectations. This position requires to be familiar with Agile way of work as per agile practices.

ERP at Telenor

Telenor is using cloud-based Oracle Fusion ERP to provide financial solution and having integrations with other cloud-based ERPs and Coupa. As a Data & Analytics expert you will be working closely on integrated ERP data solutions, using Oracle ADW, ODI and OAC to support Fusion ERP reporting.

Goals

• Working in cloud environment to provide support for the delivered components
• Responsible for providing technical support to different projects for implementation of data warehousing, data integration and analytics solutions on Oracle ADW, ODI and OAC
• Responsible for delivering on KPIs in Service Level Agreement (SLA) and report on performance as agreed with customers
• Responsible for operations and development of various data and reporting solutions for Finance

Your Typical Day at Work

• Design, develop and support data warehouse solutions on Oracle ADW, sourced from Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EBS R12.x and other systems
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using ODI, including scheduling, monitoring and resolving load failures
• Work with multiple application teams, developers and business users to gather and deliver reporting requirements
• Develop dashboards, reports, datasets and data flows in Oracle Analytics Cloud
• Performance tuning and monitoring of ADW, ODI jobs and OAC content
• Working and following up with Oracle support
• Application/code bug fixing
• Ad hoc data extraction and reports development
• Fusion data extraction and reporting using BICC, OTBI and BI Publisher, where required

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/Computer Sciences or similar along with technical overview of Financials/SCM processes.

Work Experience

• Have 6+ years of experience in data warehousing / BI development, with hands-on work on Oracle ADW, Oracle Analytics Cloud and ODI

Skillsets

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW): schema design, data loading, SQL/PL-SQL development and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI): mappings, packages, load plans, knowledge modules, scheduling and monitoring
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC): datasets, data flows, workbooks/dashboards, data actions and semantic modeling
• Advanced SQL & PL/SQL, dimensional data modeling (star schema) and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Oracle Fusion technical knowledge (added advantage): BICC, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP APIs, ADF Desktop Integrator and Fusion data extraction
• Working knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain and Projects data (added advantage); EBS R12.2 exposure is a plus
• Relevant certification (e.g. Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Database, ODI) or experience in the tools and technologies
