Octans Digital is seeking an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant specializing in APEX and integrations, based in Faisalabad. The role focuses on designing and implementing complex integrations, REST APIs, and secure enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate has a CS/IT degree and 4–6 years in Oracle EBS technical development or Oracle APEX, with strong SQL/PL/SQL skills, reporting, and experience with ORDS and front-end tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/SE/IT or related field with 4–6 years Oracle EBS/APEX experience.
• Strong hands-on SQL/PL/SQL, reporting, integrations, and enterprise app development.
• Experience with Oracle EBS modules: Core HR, Payroll, General Ledger; AI-enabled features a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain reports using BI Publisher/XML Publisher/RDF and Oracle tools.
• Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
• Build enterprise apps using Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Create dashboards, reports, forms, grids, charts, and custom UIs.
• Convert business requirements into detailed technical specs and solutions.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, JSON integrations, and ORDS for communication.
• Implement Oracle Workflow solutions and integrate various enterprise apps.
• Provide ongoing Oracle EBS tech support including customization and reports.
• Ensure adherence to standards, security, and performance optimization.
• Optimize SQL/PLSQL, reports, and application performance to meet SLAs.
• Coordinate with DBAs, Infra, and Support for deployment, testing, and prod support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues; implement AI-enabled features in Oracle APEX.
• Leverage Generative AI, RAG, Vector Search to drive innovation.
• Support data migration, release mgmt, and post-production operations.
• Document designs, processes, and change management; stay updated on tech trends.

Our client Octans Digital is looking for a Oracle EBS Technical Consultant - APEX & Integrations in Faisalabad

The Oracle Technical Consultant develops complex integrations and automations, including REST APIs and application security measures. Looking for the candidate having Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, preferably with exposure to ERP systems, enterprise software, and application development, along with 4-6 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS Technical Development and/or Oracle APEX Application Development, with strong hands-on expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, reporting technologies, integrations, and enterprise applications. Candidate will support application deployment, testing, and operational activities while coordinating with database administrators, infrastructure, and support teams. The role requires a deep understanding of Oracle EBS modules, especially Core HR, Payroll, and General Ledger, coupled with expertise in Oracle development tools and reporting technologies. This position demands a proactive approach in troubleshooting and optimizing solutions while adopting innovative AI-enabled features to improve business process automation. Candidates should have significant experience in Oracle technical architecture and demonstrate competence in advanced database and front-end web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom reports using BI Publisher, XML Publisher, RDF, and Oracle reporting tools.
• Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and other database objects.
• Build and enhance enterprise applications leveraging Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 technologies.
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, forms, interactive grids, charts, and customized user interfaces.
• Collaborate with functional teams to accurately convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications and develop corresponding application solutions.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, JSON integrations, and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for seamless application communication.
• Implement and support Oracle Workflow solutions and integrate various enterprise applications and services.
• Provide ongoing Oracle EBS technical support including customization and report development to meet business needs.
• Ensure adherence to Oracle development standards, code quality practices, security protocols, and performance optimization techniques.
• Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, reports, and application performance to meet SLAs and business expectations.
• Coordinate and cooperate with Database Administrators, Infrastructure, and Support teams for deployment, testing, and production support activities.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production environment issues efficiently.
• Implement advanced AI-enabled features within Oracle APEX applications, including AI agents and AI tools.
• Leverage modern AI technologies such as Generative AI, RAG, Vector Search, and AI-assisted development methods to drive innovation.
• Support data migration, release management, and post-production operational activities to ensure smooth business function continuity.
• Document technical designs, development processes, and change management procedures comprehensively.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and apply knowledge to enhance enterprise solutions and development frameworks.
