Job summary

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. seeks a Verification Officer to support branches in meeting targets while maintaining prudent credit risk.

You will review loan files for accuracy, participate in credit decisions, maintain MIS, and train branch staff on credit assessment and procedures. The role involves pre-approval and post-disbursement verifications, cross-verifying borrower information, and ensuring compliance with policy.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable Institution in the fields of Business Administration/Banking & Finance/ Agriculture/Economics/Accounts.
• Have 3-5 years of credit and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent desk review of loan files for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in branch Credit Committee decisions and provide independent judgment on loan applications.
• Maintain MIS of all loan applications—received, processed, rejected.
• Perform pre-approval verifications to assess accuracy of borrower information.
• Conduct post-disbursement verifications and report findings to management.
• Provide functional trainings to Branch Staff to strengthen credit assessment and monitoring.
