Job Purpose
The Corporate Liaison Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate organizations, potential donors, sponsors, and strategic partners to support the organization’s fundraising and resource mobilization objectives.
The position will focus on identifying Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities, developing corporate partnerships, securing financial and in-kind support, coordinating donor engagement activities, and promoting the organization's programs and impact among potential corporate partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Relationship Development
- Identify and approach potential corporate partners, businesses, industries, and organizations for collaboration and fundraising opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with corporate representatives, CSR departments.
- Develop strategies to engage corporate organizations in supporting the organization's programs and initiatives.
- Conduct regular meetings and follow-ups with existing and potential corporate partners.
- Maintain a strong network of corporate contacts for fundraising and partnership development.
- Represent the organization professionally during corporate meetings, networking events, and partnership discussions.
2. Corporate Fundraising and Resource Mobilization
- Identify fundraising opportunities from corporate organizations and CSR programs.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure financial, material, and in-kind support from corporate partners.
- Support the achievement of assigned fundraising and resource mobilization targets.
- Develop fundraising proposals, concept notes, presentations, and partnership documents for corporate donors.
- Explore opportunities for corporate sponsorships for organizational programs, events, and initiatives.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential corporate donors and funding opportunities.
3. CSR Partnerships
- Identify areas where the organization's programs align with corporate CSR objectives.
- Develop customized proposals and partnership opportunities for corporate organizations.
- Facilitate collaboration between the organization and corporate partners for social development initiatives.
- Support the development and execution of CSR-funded projects and activities.
- Maintain records of CSR commitments, agreements, and partnership activities.
4. Donor and Partner Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate donors and partners.
- Coordinate donor visits, meetings, program visits, and engagement activities.
- Share organizational updates, success stories, impact reports, and relevant information with donors.
- Ensure timely acknowledgment and appreciation of corporate contributions.
5. Fundraising Campaigns and Events
- Plan and support fundraising campaigns targeting corporate organizations and potential donors.
- Organize corporate engagement sessions, networking events, donor meetings, and fundraising activities.
- Support awareness campaigns highlighting the organization's programs and social impact.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure effective execution of fundraising activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the results of fundraising campaigns and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications,Social Sciences, or a relevant field.
- Experience in corporate liaison, fundraising, business development, CSR, marketing, sales, donor management, or partnership development will be preferred.
- Experience in the NGO, development, education, or social sector will be an added advantage.
