LLB or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university. A higher qualification, such as an LLM in corporate or financial law, is preferred.

Zanda Financial Services (Pvt. Ltd.) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with specific expertise in non-banking financial services (NBFCs) and must have certifications to practice law in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and safeguarding the company’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on all matters related to corporate law, particularly those involving NBFCs.
  • Ensure full compliance with SECP, SBP, and FBR regulations governing non-banking financial companies in Pakistan.
  • Advise on matters related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) laws, as well as the Companies Act 2017.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and regulatory matters.
  • Stay updated on the latest legal developments and advise management accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all business practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in managing legal risks and providing solutions to mitigate those risks.
