Job summary

leading-edge is seeking a Core Banking Implementation Consultant for Islamabad, Pakistan. The role involves guiding the end-to-end deployment of a Core Banking System, from selection to full integration and rollout within the bank.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Core Banking implementation experience, strong PM and communication skills, and willingness to travel. Knowledge of banking regulations is a plus. This is a contractual, 1-year extendable engagement based in Islamabad.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing Core Banking Systems.
• Proven track record leading complex implementation projects.
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and knowledge of banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suitable Core Banking Systems for the bank.
• Collaborate with senior management, IT teams and external vendors.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines and budgets.
• Provide training and support to bank staff during rollout.
• Monitor progress and report status to senior management.
• Ensure integration with existing systems and processes.
• Coordinate with vendor to resolve technical issues and align with requirements.
• Stay updated on Core Banking trends to suggest improvements.
