Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA or equivalent qualification.
• 3–4 years of relevant clinical lab experience at AKUH or 6–8 years in a laboratory setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational abilities.
• Good knowledge of tests conducted in the Clinical Laboratory and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of collection points.
• Visit collection points regularly to perform financial and quality audits.
• Ensure compliance of quality indicators and patient satisfaction index.
• Handle lab test queries, incident reporting and complaints of patients / physicians within stipulated timelines.
• Handle inventory management of collection points.
• Manage staff’s duties, leaves, overtime and trainings.

Requirements

You should have:

• a Bachelor’s degree / MBA or any equivalent qualification
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience at any section of clinical laboratories of AKUH or 6 to 8 years of relevant experience at a laboratory setting
• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of various tests undertaken by the Clinical Laboratory
• Good knowledge of computer software packages
