Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Lahore is seeking a Finance Controller to oversee direct costs, inventories, stores and reserves for slow moving/obsolete stocks, driving control improvements and timely reporting.

You will partner with SC Controller and plant teams to implement automation and value creation. • 7+ years of experience in finance with people management.
• Experience in plant cost control and inventory reporting.
• Proven ability to implement process controls and automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support Process/Control Owners during risk assessments to mitigate emerging risks & improve controls effectiveness of I2C, Agro and FR processes.
• Monitor all inventories (Agro and non-Agro) for their aging and reporting of KPIs relevant to inventories on monthly basis
• Ensure accurate & timely execution of costing run at month end
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of HFM TB & schedules to reporting team
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of JVs & ME closing schedules related to Reporting and Inventory team.
• Provide analytical support to SC Controller with variance analysis and other agreed upon KPI’s on monthly basis
• Ensure updation of standard cost of materials & FG in SAP, as and when required
• Balance sheet review including Inventory, Reserves and Agro schedules
• Ensure timely & accurate reporting of scrap sales and reconciliation of customer ledgers
• Support SC Controller in sharing finance dashboard with SC Director and functional heads during monthly Ops Review, explaining in detail main components of direct cost and MOH along with cause of change vs LE and AOP. Compare COGS and MOH for both plants and reason for variances. Also present YTD Capex spend status vs AOP and LE.
• Plan, set and manage Team performance objectives through performance appraisal sessions with team during one 2 one sessions
• Enhance cross functional co-ordination with plant team
• Ensure timely submission of information to external auditors
• Support SC Controller in holding reward and recognition activities
• Support SC Controller in maintaining healthy environment within PLT Controls team
• Enhance the teams’ business understanding & confidence by providing opportunities to present their work at senior forums
• Ensure team members are trained to identify and minimize routine & non-routine risks in their respective processes.

Overview

Provide rich analysis on Direct Costs, Inventories, Stores & Spares and Reserves for slow moving/obsolete stocks to SC Controller for timely reporting. Support SC Controller to implement control agenda at plant. Automation of processes to bring in efficiency and create value.
