Job description

Overview

Should have been preferably associated with a project especially where joint ventures (JVs) and subcontracting are involved, from opening to closing.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the clauses of contracts signed between different parties, highlight clauses that could favorably or adversely affect project health, take immediate actions regarding timelines and extensions, settle contractual issues including BOQs between client, contractor and consultant, and be able to facilitate the arbitration process.
• Ensure alignment with the latest government rules/policies and project-specific exemptions.
• Initiate timely reports and propose actions to different departments by working in close coordination with the client, consultant and all members of the JV.
• Formulate suitable contractual terms between our company and other firms where sub-contracting is concerned.
• Monitor and control the project within the contractual parameters right from start to end.

Qualifications / Experience

• Should have experience of five to seven years on projects with reputed firms.
