Job summary

JazzWorld in Lahore seeks a Legal Counsel Litigation to review company records, provide legal advice, and manage civil, criminal, regulatory, and tax litigation across forums. You will liaise with regulators, draft notices, report updates, and represent the company in courts and offices, including with external counsel.

The role requires independence in handling cases, strong drafting and research skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments. Corporate experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience of independently handling court cases in various forums.
• Ability to draft pleadings and legal notices and respond to authorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Research skills with knowledge of statutes and telecom regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with internal departments and external counsel.
• Understanding of contracts and licensing conditions.
• Capable of representing the company in courts and government bodies.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required.
• Draft and respond to legal notices and other documents after inputs from peer departments.
• Report cases through weekly updates and appear with external counsel in courts and offices.
• Draft statements and applications for court-related documents in litigious matters.
• Coordinate with peer departments and external counsels for information sharing.
• Independently review and endorse legal agreements and process invoices.
• Provide legal advice on interpretation of statutes, regulations, and licenses.
• Represent JazzWorld and subsidiaries in courts, forums and regulatory bodies.
• Assist with contract-related and litigious matters.
