Job summary

Din Developments is seeking a Construction Site Storekeeper for its Elevate by Din Civic Centre project in Lake City, Lahore. The role reports to the Resident Engineer and is a full-time, site-resident position with on-site accommodation and a three-month probation period.

You will manage custody, recording, and reconciliation of client-supplied materials from delivery through placement, maintaining stock ledgers and weekly consumption statements to ensure accurate inventory and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Practical construction-site storekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of steel diameters and weights, cement brands and grades, and construction materials.
• Accurate GRN, issue-note, challan, ledger, stock-count and reconciliation procedures.
• Ability to identify delivery discrepancies and maintain clear written records.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and smartphone-based daily reporting.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and verify quantity, brand, grade, and condition against challans before offloading.
• Reject non-conforming materials and promptly inform the Resident Engineer.
• Prepare a Goods Received Note for every delivery and issue materials only against written requisitions approved by the Resident Engineer.
• Maintain the daily stock ledger, including opening, received, issued, and closing quantities.
• Conduct physical counts of cement daily, steel weekly, and other materials monthly; reconcile variances and report them in writing.
• Store cement, steel, and other materials according to manufacturer requirements and proper stock rotation practices.
• Safeguard challans, mill test certificates, batch records, and store access logs.
• Submit weekly consumption statements.
