Job summary

Mashreq is seeking a Compliance Checker in Karachi to scrutinize payments alerts in Fircosoft, move transactions to the checker queue, and ensure adherence to AML and regulatory policies. The role requires 2-4 years’ banking operations experience and strong knowledge of SWIFT messaging and screening processes.

The incumbent will monitor control activities, ensure timely resolution of alerts, and perform daily DCFC activities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high-quality processing

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of banking operations experience with hands-on checker role.
• Expertise in interpreting banking regulations and AML regulations.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messages and screening processes.

Responsibilities

• Scrutinize payments alerts in Fircosoft and move transactions to checker/compliance queue with appropriate decision in screening systems for incoming/outgoing payment messages.
• Monitor and control all control activities to fulfill regulatory requirements.
• Continuously monitor Fircosoft to clear transactions from Maker queue per cutoffs.
• Complete daily control and functional checklist (DCFC) activity without fail.
