Responsibilities

• Own the weekly investor email to Lumida's community round investors and existing SPV and Seed investors.
• Draft and manage lifecycle communications for investors.
• Moderate the community's engagement channel (Telegram or WhatsApp).
• Design and run the investor intake process and ensure data propagates into the CRM.
• Segment the community to identify high-potential relationships and route them appropriately.
• Track engagement metrics and report on community health.
• Build and manage a community ambassador program.
• Support event planning, promotion, and follow-up.
• Activate the community as a growth channel: upsizing, client conversion, referrals, and introductions.
• Own day-to-day engagement across Lumida's social channels.

Role Description

Lumida has just closed its first community investment round, welcoming a sophisticated network of investors, many of whom came from our newsletter and know the firm personally. This community is far more than capital: they are prospective clients, ambassadors, referral sources, recruiting allies, and strategic connectors, and several can upsize their commitments or open doors to partnerships and introductions.

We are hiring a Community Manager to own the relationship with this growing community end to end. This is a hybrid role spanning investor relations, community engagement, and social channel management. You will be the connective tissue between Lumida and its investor community, keeping them informed, engaged, and activated, while building the systems (communications cadence, engagement channels, CRM workflows, and ambassador programs) that let the community scale ahead of future raises.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations & Communications

• Own the weekly investor email to Lumida's community round investors and existing SPV and Seed investors, sharing firm milestones, market wins, comparable-company news, and event recaps in a voice consistent with the founder's.
• Draft and manage lifecycle communications: welcome and congratulatory emails for new investors, expectation-setting, and ongoing updates so no investor ever feels out of the loop.
• Stand up and moderate the community's engagement channel (e.g., Telegram or WhatsApp), defining norms and keeping the conversation active and high-quality.

Community Intelligence & CRM

• Design and run the investor intake process (e.g., onboarding form capturing LinkedIn, accreditation status, background, and interests) and ensure that data propagates cleanly into the CRM.
• Segment the community to identify high-potential relationships — executives, family offices, prospective clients — and route them appropriately (founder conversations, inside sales follow-up, ambassador invitations).
• Track community engagement metrics (email open rates, channel activity, app adoption) and report on community health.

Community Activation & Events

• Build and manage a community ambassador program, enabling members to host and support Lumida events across different cities on a regular cadence.
• Support event planning, promotion, and follow-up, and manage prospect and attendee lists.
• Activate the community as a growth channel: check upsizing, client conversion, referrals, recruiting, and strategic introductions.

Social & Channel Management

• Own day-to-day engagement across Lumida's social channels — responding to YouTube comments, engaging on Reddit, and promoting the Lumida app — with a holistic, coordinated approach across platforms.
• Coordinate with the marketing team on newsletter distribution, email tracking, and campaign support.
• Support community-facing aspects of future fundraising campaigns (e.g., subsequent crowdfunding or venture rounds).

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in community management, investor relations, marketing, or a related client- or audience-facing role.
• Excellent writing ability — you can draft polished, thoughtful communications for a sophisticated audience of founders, executives, and accredited investors.
• Hands-on experience managing social platforms and community channels (Telegram, WhatsApp, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, X).
