Job summary

The Citizen Foundation is seeking a Talent Management professional to oversee recruitment, orientation, and capacity-building across TCF schools in Pakistan. The role emphasizes KPI-driven human capital development, data-informed decision making, and adherence to government guidelines.

Responsibilities cover recruitment, training, classroom observation targets, exam management, and engagement with parents and school communities to drive school improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment process of TCF local teachers and non-faculty in consultation with RHR and DM KPI: target reduction in empty classroom days.
• Ensure timely orientation of newly recruited TCF and government teachers; target: 100% of new staff go through PRESET3.
• Develop capacity of current faculty through formal training and mentoring; KPI: training hours per teacher per year and improvements in classroom observations.
• Ensure high student and staff attendance; monitor resource utilisation (textbooks, uniforms, tablets, stationery) and conduct orientations.
• Update data on school enrolment, operations and academics; monitor aging percentage of schools.
• Ensure compliance to financial management processes and improve area audit scores.
• Adhere to TCF policies and government guidelines; aim for reduction in penalties due to non-compliance.
• Assist Principals/HMs in developing School Improvement Plans and review progress; train HMs for feedback.
• Conduct classroom observations and set improvement targets for teachers; ensure at least one independent observation per academic year.
• Monitor lesson planning quality, copy checking, remediation plans and literacy leadership.
• Manage external and internal exams; work towards improving APR and evaluation outcomes.
• Engage with parents and school communities to support improvement; participate in CSG/SMC/PTMs.
• Develop annual Improvement Plans for each school; implement AMP strategies and actions.
• Utilize data for effective area-improvement decisions.
• Cultivate a collaborative learning culture, demonstrate 5C's among students, maintain staff engagement.
