Job Brief:
Employment Type: Contract Based
Location: Remote, Full Time
Time Zone: CET (04 Hours Overlap)
Project Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Responsibilities
- Support Clients in the administration of container orchestration platforms based on Kubernetes deploying new platforms, performing upgrades, troubleshooting issues, etc.
- Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, tostreamline software delivery.
- Analyze, identify, and implement automation and optimization opportunities to enhance systemperformance, reliability, and cost efficiency, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, Puppet and other automation technologies.
- Implement security best practices for cloud and containerized environments, including guardrails, role-based access controls (RBAC), and vulnerability scanning.
- Draft technical documentation on cloud platform services, related procedures, and operations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging cloud trends, and new technologies, assessing their potential for adoption or integration.
Qualifications
- Experienced in working with container technologies (Docker or other runtimes) and proficient in deploying, managing, and maintaining container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.
- Experience with Cloud-Based container solutions (IaaS & PaaS) in public or private cloud providers.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with application modernization approach including containerization, APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code, scripting and automation (Terraform, PowerShell scripting, Bash, Go, Ansible, etc.).
- Previous exposure to service management methodologies (ITIL).
