Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and maintain scalable infrastructure for an LMS platform. The role includes building CI/CD pipelines, monitoring performance, and securing environments across cloud, hybrid, or on-prem setups.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to automate deployments and ensure high availability. Candidate should have 4–5 years of relevant experience, strong Linux skills, and proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python).

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional experience as DevOps/Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and private data centers.
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Proficient in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain scalable cloud, hybrid, or on-premise infrastructure environments to host our LMS platform.
• Architect and implement automated CI/CD pipelines for code compilation, testing, and deployment.
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs to identify and resolve bottlenecks or outages.
• Configure and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes for elasticity.
• Implement security measures including firewall rules, data encryption, and RBAC.
• Formulate disaster recovery, automated backups, and HA configurations for backend databases.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize servers for peak regional training loads during events.
