We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to build, scale, and optimize the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystem powering our retail e-commerce platform.

This role will lead DevOps transformation, ensure platform reliability and security, and mentor a team of engineers to enable fast, stable, and high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Strategy & Cloud Management

• Design and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure

• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and best practices

CI/CD Pipeline Leadership

• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery

• Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies (blue-green, canary releases)

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and grow the DevOps team

• Drive DevOps culture, performance reviews, and technical upskilling

Platform Reliability & Performance

• Ensure high availability and scalability during peak traffic

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response frameworks

Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)

• Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle

• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS)

Cost Optimization

• Monitor and optimize cloud spend

• Implement tagging, budgeting, and reporting mechanisms

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Design and maintain DR strategies and resilience testing

• Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years in DevOps, cloud operations, or infrastructure roles

• 3+ years in a senior/lead DevOps role

• Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket)

• Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go)

• Experience in high-traffic e-commerce environments preferred
