Job summary

Zong 5G is seeking an experienced NFVI Cloud Core Infrastructure Manager to oversee the cloud platform that supports EPC, CS Core, IMS, signaling, and 5G. The role emphasizes high availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency with automation and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities include designing NFVI solutions, managing hardware and MANO stacks, and ensuring compliance with security standards while driving KPI reporting and optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electrical, computer science, IT, or software engineering.
• 5–6 years of experience in IT, cloud computing, EPC, and 5G Core environments; preferred Huawei/ZTE/OpenStack certs.
• Certifications: Huawei HCIA/HCIP/HCIE Cloud, ZTE Cloud Certification, or OpenStack Certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, test hardware and software components of the cloud platform.
• Design NFVI Cloud Core solutions aligned with requirements.
• Maintain NFVI hardware and integration with monitoring and security tooling.
• Manage VNF lifecycle including onboarding, scaling, upgrades, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
