Job summary

Zong 5G is seeking a Civil/MEP design expert to lead nationwide planning and design for Data Centers, Telehouses, and HUB sites. You will supervise structural evaluations, capacity planning, and MEP infrastructure assessments to ensure resilience and compliance with international standards and local codes.

You will review reports, prepare RFPs, and guide vendors, engineers, and contractors through design and construction, enabling scalable networks and data centers across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of work experience with 3+ years in civil engineering design for data centers is preferred.
• Certifications in data center design are preferred: CDC, CDC Specialist, TIA-942 Internal Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings and civil designs for Data Centers, Telehouses, Major HUBs and other critical infrastructure sites.
• Perform and coordinate building structural assessments (slabs, beams, columns, foundations, roofs).
• Review structural assessment reports and recommend strengthening and rectification measures.
• Evaluate building capacity against rack, equipment, battery, DG/transformer loadings and future growth.
• Ensure designs consider earthquake, wind, fire, flood and other natural disaster risks.
• Review site master plans, layouts and future expansion requirements.
• Develop civil and MEP infrastructure plans and oversee implementation from concept to handover.
