Responsibilities
- Support Clients cloud solutions, with a focus on IaaS and PaaS across multiple cloud providers.
- Provision and configure cloud resources based on customer requirements and best practices, preferably using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Monitor, upgrade, and manage cloud resources, ensuring performance, capacity, reliability and cost efficiency.
- Work in close collaboration with other technical teams including Information Security, Architecture, Service Management, etc. to ensure cloud services meet organizational policies and business needs.
- Draft technical documentation on cloud services, related procedures, and operations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging cloud trends, and new technologies, assessing their potential for adoption or integration.
Requirements
- Understanding of cloud service structures (enrolments, organizations, departments, accounts, subscriptions, resource groups) and cloud core features.
- Sound conceptual and hands-on knowledge of key IaaS and PaaS services (compute, networking, storage, databases, etc.).
- Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code and Automation (Terraform, PowerShell scripting, automation tools, Ansible, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in managing Landing Zones, including hub & spoke networks.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud security, including policies and guardrails.
- Knowledge of general architecture, deployment and administration methodologies and techniques including systems configurations, clustering, networking, OS administration (Windows/Linux), monitoring, security, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, previous exposure to service management methodologies (ITIL).
