Job summary

Indus Hospital invites applications for the position of Clinical Nursing Instructor based in Dera Bugti, within Nursing Services. The role focuses on clinical teaching, orientation, and competency-based training for nursing and midwifery staff.

You will conduct bedside teaching, supervise rounds, assess clinical competencies, and support infection prevention and patient safety standards. A strong background in nursing education and postgraduate qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical nursing/midwifery experience.
• Experience in clinical teaching, training, or staff development preferred.
• BScN or Post RN BScN from a recognized institution.
• MSN/MSc Nursing or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
• Valid PNC registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical teaching, orientation, in-service education, and competency-based training for nursing and midwifery staff.
• Assess and monitor clinical competencies and provide mentorship and feedback.
• Conduct bedside teaching and clinical rounds to promote safe, evidence-based practice.
• Identify training needs based on clinical observations, audits, incidents, and quality indicators.
• Support implementation of nursing, midwifery, patient safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Develop and maintain competency checklists, training materials, and educational resources.
• Maintain records of staff training, competency assessments, and certifications.
• Support quality improvement, clinical audits, research, and evidence-based nursing and midwifery practice.
• Prepare training reports and presentations for Nursing Management.
