Octus, a global provider of credit intelligence and analytics, is seeking a Customer Engagement Specialist for an 8-month maternity cover. You will support a subset of auto-renewal clients, ensure they maximize value from subscriptions, and keep them informed about access, usage, and content.

You will work with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver outstanding service. The role emphasizes proactive client engagement, relationship building, and the ability to think commercially about

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or account management with high client service standards.
• Knowledge of credit markets is a plus and beneficial for client understanding.
• Ability to identify potential cross-sell opportunities and retain clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day support for auto-renewal clients and address questions about access, subscriptions, and content.
• Provide client updates on subscriptions and review usage to drive engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver excellent client service.
• Coordinate with product team to relay client feedback for improvements.
• Negotiate with clients when faced with pushback and seek retention.
• Maintain regular client touchpoints, including calls every two months and timely email responses.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and ensure high client retention.
