Octus is a global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics hiring a Customer Engagement Specialist. You will support auto-renewal clients, answer questions about access, subscriptions, and content, and ensure clients derive maximum value.

You will work with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver excellent service, identify opportunities, and maintain high retention. This is an 8-month maternity cover with potential for permanence.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service or account management.
• Familiarity with credit markets is a plus.
• Ability to identify future sales opportunities with clients.
• Positive attitude and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day support of auto-renewal clients and handle inquiries.
• Manage questions about services, user access, training, and content.
• Maintain regular client touchpoints and respond to emails the same day.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and commercial potential.
• Support client retention and minimize cancellations of services.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Operations.
• Provide client feedback to product teams via Slack channel.
• Coordinate with product team to suggest enhancements.
• Negotiate when clients push back.
